McCoy Dental is kind of a concierge dentistry type of dental office and was created in Ventura County by Dr. Archie McCoy, a solo practitioner that caters to the non insured population that want individualized care and who for some reason (many times is embarrasment) postponed or avoided their needed dental care. One of the nice things about Dr. Archie McCoy is that he's been a dentist for a long time and has learned to make no judgment of the patient or their oral condition or health. Dr. Archie McCoy loves when a patient tells him he is a good and understanding dentist.

At McCoy Dental we usually see the patient the same day he calls, but it is better to call for an appointment at least a couple of days in advance, otherwise we may have to schedule you for the next day or day after. We do not take Walk-ins so as not to disturb the flow of scheduled patients.
Dr. Archie McCoy sees his patients on time, that means that there is no waiting time for you if you arrive at your scheduled appointment. Each hour is allotted to a specific patient so it is important to be punctual to your scheduled dental appointment. Nice Mrs. Alma will give you a courtesy reminder call the day before your appointment.

Dr. Archie McCoy employs modern technology making treatments easier, better and faster. He uses High Power Magnification coupled with Ultra High Lighting that helps him see the tooth in a very different and detailed form, Ultrasonic Cleaning of the inside of a tooth and an Electronic Apex Locator when doing Root Canal, High Evacuation System to remove fumes or debris from the working area of your tooth, Ceramic Ball Bearing Turbines in handpieces. The benefit for you is that treatments and restorations feel better, look better and last longer.
